His band, Los Brillantes, brought even more vibrancy to the project, collaborating with the students to preserve traditional Cuban genres like Son and Bolero. During the music preservation recording project, Rubén took on a lead role, guiding the students through the process of producing and recording traditional Cuban music. Adresh brings a unique blend of technical, scientific expertise and educational experience to the camp. As an ICT and programming specialist with seven years of teaching in AP, IB, and IGCSE programs, he is passionate about helping students understand technology in a real-world context. In a setting where internet access is limited and electricity must be conserved, Adersh teaches students how to adapt and innovate, developing a mindset for problem-solving and resourcefulness. His approach challenges students to find creative solutions and make technology work in extreme situations, empowering them to think critically and effectively use available resources.
